About Me

My name is Rebecca Hartz and I am an independent psychologist (GZ psycholoog) working in my own private practice. Before starting up my own practice, I worked for several years for a large healthcare organization (GGZinGeest), where I mainly treated patients as part of a multidisciplinary team with (severe) personality disorders but also treated people with mood disorders or anxiety disorders.

I have experience with individual as well as group-based treatments. In my practice I use an eclectic approach to treating psychological problems using evidence-based treatment techniques such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Mentalisation Based Treatment.

As a GZ-psychologist I have a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology and a postgraduate education in Healthcare Psychology. I hold registration with the Dutch Ministery of Health, Care and Sports. I am also a member of the NIP, the Dutch Institute of Psychologists.
To ensure that my knowledge is kept up-to-date I attend courses regularly. I also regularly attend a group of other registered psychologists for intervision.
